Hello,
Nice to meet you
I am Angelica, but people call me Angie. I am a native Spanish speaker, from Colombia. I am an experienced Spanish Tutor for Adults and Children.
Just a little more
about my experience
Before the lockdown in 2019, I was working as a private tutor for adults and children. My role included an initial assessment to make a structural plan for learning Spanish and working one to one helping my
students with lesson plans. I provide resources and material for making the lessons exciting and up-to-date including digital games, videos, and boarding games.
My professional background is in tuition and business experiences in architecture. I always have been enthusiastic on helping people with new learning. I have a childcare and education level 2 and level 3 on TAs.
I had completed training on Equality & Diversity Education, safeguarding Children, and prevention and practitioners. I recently completed my training on Mental health in children level 2.
I have knowledge of how to support pupils with learning difficulties through personal experiences and at work.
As a mother of three children, I am experienced in understanding children’s needs, making learning fun and managing challenging situations.
I am confident in building a good working relationship with adults and children alike and understanding their needs. I am motivated and enthusiastic about creating a good environment by working in a team and I am open to the latest ideas. I consider myself a patient, collaborative, responsible, empathetic, and disciplined person.
Testimonials
What our clients say
Angélica has been a Spanish tutor for years. She has helped me and my husband with our Spanish especially when we were looking to improve our Spanish for travels to Mexico. Her style is friendly and helpful with whatever questions that arise and great at explaining grammar rules. She’s a happy, bright and energetic person and trustworthy. When my children get older, she’s definitely going to tutor my kids!
